Well Water Testing
In 2025, we are partnering with the Posey County Health Department to provide the citizens of Posey County a free well water test. We are taking 120 tests in 2025, 10 tests per month. This is originally a $90 test, that we will provide to you at no cost. It tests for lead, nitrate, nitrite, coliform, and hardness. Cover Crop Cost Share
in 2025, we have a grant that allows landowners in Posey County a chance to get money back on planting cover crops. The program offers $20/acre of cover crops planted. You can get an additional $5/acre if you're new to the programs, planting green (planting cash crop directly into live cover crop), or have a 3+ seed mix of cover crops. In total, you can get up to $35/acre!
